教师简介

Jacob graduated from the University of Georgia in America. He was able to attend and finish college on an academic scholarship awarded to him for excellent grades and high test scores, throughout high school and university. He holds a major in English, a minor in theatre and enjoys writing. His other hobbies include reading, walking along the shore and playing games both in and outside of the classroom.
Jacob has been a teacher in Qingdao China for 7 years. He always wants students not to just learn answers but think criticality and form their own thoughts and opinions about the world. He believes any project that lets students work together and use their own thoughts are instrumental to learning. Students don’t just need to learn how to work, they also need to learn how to live their best life!
He loves encouraging students to write more and improve their writing skills. He wants to foster a learning environment so kids can be interested and want to write. In the past, Jacob has led his classes in creative writing projects, so students can practice writing while having fun with it.
Jacob is always excited to meet and encourage students to try their best. Mistakes can always be corrected, but the most important thing is to try your best in school and life!
雅各布老师毕业于美国佐治亚大学。在高中和大学期间，由于成绩优异和考试成绩优异获得学术奖学金。他主修英语，辅修戏剧，喜欢写作。他的其他爱好包括阅读、沿着海岸散步以及尝试室内室外的各种游戏。
雅各布老师在中国青岛当了7年的老师。他一直希望学生不只是学习固定的答案，而是在学习的过程中进行批判性思考，形成自己对世界的想法和看法。他认为，任何让学生进行团队合作并运用他们自己的想法的项目都有助于学习。学生们不仅需要学习如何工作，他们还需要学习如何过最好的生活!
他喜欢鼓励学生多写，提高他们的写作技巧。他想营造一个学习环境，让孩子们对写作感兴趣，想要写作。以前雅各布老师曾带领他的班级进行创意写作项目，这样学生就可以在享受写作乐趣的同时练习写作。
雅各布老师很喜欢学生，他鼓励他们尽自己最大的努力。错误总是可以纠正的，但最重要的是在学校和生活中尽你最大的努力!
