Hi, my name is Ian Carpenter and I am an oral English teacher in Jinjialing School. I am from Bournemouth which is in the south of England and is a beach city. I have worked as an English teacher since finishing university where I studied English Language and Literature at Sussex University in Brighton. I have continued my academic development and enhanced my teaching skills by completing a several Cambridge TKTs, International House qualifications, a Trinity TESOL and a Trinity DELTA. I have taught English in many different countries around the world, but have spent many years in China having previously worked in Changchun, Weihai and Yantai.
